Celebrating explosive creativity is Moncler's latest beat—seen here on Aspen's resident dance aficionado.

Moncler 1952 sunglasses are a part of the Moncler Genius project, a new chapter for the brand celebrating “extraordinary individuality.” The shades are a reinvention of a trademark piece, inspired by the brand’s midcentury mountaineering styles. Joeli Villa Cedeno can’t stop dancing. Literally, he’s wiggling in his seat while we are setting up to shoot this picture. “What kind of music do you like?” I ask. “I don’t even need music!” he says. Clearly, the 25-year-old Dominican-born Villa Cedeno marches to the beat of his own drum. After seven years in Aspen, he’s overcome much of the culture shock he first experienced, and carved out his place on the community stage. Whether performing in the Aspen Cares show for the Aspen Hope Center, rocking the runway at Rossignol’s fashion show this winter, or leading his weekly Zumba class at Jean-Robert’s Gym, the stylish dancer is always the star of the show.
