On the eve of Rossignol's Aspen boutique debut and fashion show, we asked the iconic ski company's president, Francois Goulet, about how to create brand legacy.
"The one thing you always need to do," he answered, "is never forget who you are and where you're coming from. If you have a project that is what I call stretching, going outside of your comfort zone, you're going to be successful if you're also focused on what your core business is. Be true to your brand DNA, your roots; if you focus on that, it's a lot easier to get consumers to respect and like what you're doing."
