The A-listers' in-spot is back with a vengance for its second year in the Hamptons. It's been so successful, a winter concept will come to Aspen later this year.
Light, fresh and summer-perfect crab with cucumber yogurt from EMP Summer House.
In a surprise return out East, Eleven Madison Park and American Express have joined forces again to bring back the reservation-scant EMP Summer House, which will extend into an inaugural EMP Winter House in Aspen this winter. The prolific restaurateurs Will Guidara and Daniel Humm, who now count seven projects in New York City and Los Angeles between Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad Hotels as their own, will continue to elevate culinary options out East with their unique take on fine dining. Like the year before, this pop-up offers an indoor dining option, with a formal-esque menu that features locally sourced, seafood-centric fare. Fun-minded diners will likely head for the tented outdoor area that once again offers more casual items like lobster rolls, and the new do-it-yourself fish tacos. That’s if you can pull yourself away from a game of Ping- Pong or petanque in the backyard. EMP Summer House reopens on May 25, with reservations going live May 1. Walk-ins are accepted, but diners can only pay with AmEx or cash. The Aspen pop-up will run from December through March of next year. 341 Pantigo Road, East Hampton, empsummerhouse.com
